Data Request Policies

Data Requests
The Office of the Registrar can typically provide data on currently enrolled students. For any given term, please be aware of the following:

  • Currently enrolled data is available for queries by the third or fourth week of the term (Summer session can vary)
  • Certain queries on course information are available.
  • Typical turnaround time for queries is four weeks
  • Some students may request that their information not be made public as per FERPA guidelines

Trend Data
Trend data is typically provided by the Office of Institutional Research. Please visit the website for the Office of Institutional Research to view aggregate institutional data. If you have a MyID account, you may be able to obtain what you need on the Facts Reporting System at:

 

Open Records
Requests under the Georgia Open Records Act are processed by the Office of Public Affairs. Information and a request form are available at:


Directory Information
Directory Information (or Public Information) is information contained in an education record of a student which would not generally be considered harmful or an invasion of privacy if disclosed.
