A slight increase in the pattern of funds from the Board of Regents occurred as well, from $297 million to $311 million, with another $9 million from tuition increases. While recognizing that the University will be slightly better off financially next year, the President stated that several factors, including health care costs, will continue to impact the budget and that the President-designate and his staff will determine how funds will be distributed.
